OrbitWatch is designed so that your personal data never leaves your device.
Nothing. OrbitWatch has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information.
If you grant location access, your coordinates are used only on your device to calculate which satellites are above your horizon, predict passes, and place your marker on the 3D globe. Your location is never sent to us or to any third party. You can use most of the app without granting location access.
If you grant camera access, the live camera feed is shown only on your screen as the background of Sky View so satellite positions can be overlaid on your real sky. No photos or video are captured, stored, or transmitted.
Satellite-pass reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to any server.
OrbitWatch downloads only public, non-personal data:
None of these requests include your location, identity, or any personal data.
OrbitWatch is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date.
